26 February 2020

Hi everyone,

For many, the word investment is often linked to the notion of owning a property or the image of cashed-up individuals watching the stock market closely, both of which could be a bit far from the reality of those with only small amounts of money available for investing. Our first article this week looks at how you might get started on your investment journey even if you only have small amounts of money to invest. Vanguard financial writer Tony Kaye explains the ins and outs of factor-based investing and how a factor strategy could be used in a portfolio in our second article and in our third article, we explain the concept of hedging and what it means to use a hedged portfolio.

As always, feel free to email us with your questions or feedback.

Until next week.
