Invest like a boss: what DIY can learn from big funds

Australian investors are perfectly placed to shore up future returns by using massive cash holdings to diversify into a broader range of asset classes for better outcomes. According to research undertaken by US investment manager Vanguard and research firm Investment Trends, based on a survey of SMSF trustees, on average DIY investors only hold 18 stocks in their share portfolio.
